Prof. dr Jasminka Anđelić

Decades of experience and a large number of dental treatments make her one of the most experienced and sought after orthodontists in Montenegro. She is a full-time professor, and at the same time the head of the Study Program of Dentistry at the Medical Faculty in Podgorica. In 2019, Dr. Andjelic was elected associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Mostar, study of Dental Medicine.

Prof. Dr. Andjelic is the author and co-author of more than 80 professional papers at congresses and symposia in the country and abroad. She is also an active participant in more than 30 professional trainings in the field of fixed and mobile orthodontics, in the country and abroad, and has the appropriate certificates for each field. She is the author of the monograph "Prevalence of orthodontic anomalies in the coastal part of Montenegro" and co-author of the monograph "Bright smile for life".

(She enrolled at the Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade in 1982, and graduated in 1987, as the best student and the first in the generation. She begun her specialist studies in the subject of 'Jaw Orthopedics' in 1995 and in 1998 passed the specialist exam with the highest grade in front of the Commission of the Clinic for Orthopedic Orthopedics at the Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade.

She defended her master's thesis on "Prevalence of orthodontic anomalies in school children in the coastal part of Montenegro" in 1999 at the Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade. She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "Influence of the type of growth of the craniofacial complex on the development and position of mandibular molars" in 2006. She was elected assistant professor in 2008.

Prof. dr. Jasminka Andjelic is a member of the commission in charge of providing aand improving teaching techniques at the Faculty of Medicine, the commission for evaluation of the topic of initial research, as well as the commission the focuses on defending graduate theses of dental students. She is also a member of numerous orthodontic associations in the country and abroad. She was elected primarius in 2010 and professor in 2013.)
